System Upgrades & Digital Banking Upgrades
We're IMPROVING for YOU!
Upgrades were successful!
On 3/3/2025, the Credit Union went through a digital banking platform change and complete system upgrade that will create improvements and efficiencies for you, our members. A few of these improvements include:
Upgraded Online Banking and Mobile Banking that can be used from a computer, tablet, or smartphone that will offer loan applications, the ability to open accounts online, and the ability to view eStatements
Electronic document signing at your convenience from any device you chose; and
Enhanced in-branch experience including digital signatures and receipts.
Upgraded Online Banking – Available March 3, 2025
Enroll / Log In
Effective March 3, 2025, ALL members who want to utilize the upgraded Online Banking must Enroll by going to the Home Page of our Website www.fechoice.com and clicking the Online Banking Login button near the top of the page. To Enroll, click “First Time User” (regardless of whether you were enrolled in the old Online Banking). Complete the First-Time User Setup by entering your 4 or 5-digit FE Choice FCU account number and entering your full Social Security Number. Follow the detailed prompts to complete enrollment, which includes responding to a one-time verification code, creating a password and security questions, accepting terms and conditions, and creating a username.
If you have previously bookmarked the old online banking login page, you will need to update your bookmark since the new system (named It’sMe247) is now live.
-
The upgraded “FE Choice FCU” Mobile App is NOW available for download. Even if your iPhone is set for automatic updates, you will still have to delete the old App and download the new one. Android App users must uninstall the old App and then download and install the upgraded “FE Choice FCU” Mobile App from Google Play. Note: The Mobile App name will remain “FE Choice FCU.” The Mobile App can be accessed from a mobile device, including a tablet. eStatements will be available in both the Mobile App and in Online Banking. The same login credentials (username and password) will be used to access both Online Banking and the Mobile Banking App.
-
Account history after 7/31/2024 will be viewable in the upgraded systems. However, cleared check images prior to 3/3/2025 will NOT be viewable. If you need a copy of your cleared checks or account history, contact us.
ALL MEMBERS, including current eStatement subscribers, should have received a February 2025 statement through the U.S. mail during the first part of March. Please retain this statement for your records.
-
If you are currently enrolled to receive eStatements, you will NOT need to re-enroll for this service. Once enrolled in It’sMe247 (the upgraded Online Banking), members who were previously receiving eStatements will automatically have access to their March eStatement in April. Members not previously enrolled in eStatements may enroll in It’sMe247 and then enroll in eStatements.
Note: eStatements prior to February 2025 will NOT be available in the upgraded Online Banking.
-
ALL MEMBERS will receive dividends on their Savings, Christmas Club, Sub-Savings, and Individual Retirement Account (IRA) Savings accounts on 1/31/2025, 2/28/2025, and 3/31/2025 rather than only quarterly on 3/31/2025. After 3/31/2025, dividends for those accounts will then revert back to being posted quarterly, starting 6/30/2025.
-
Effective Monday, 3/3/2025, debit card processing changed to real-time updating which means your transactions will be posted in real-time rather than the previous one-to-two-day delay. A Debit Card control is available in the Mobile App if you need to temporarily disable your debit card. The Visa Debit Card you received mid-January will NOT be changing and will continue to work. Your personal identification number (PIN) will NOT be affected.
What Will Stay The Same?
-
Your existing account number(s) will remain unaffected by our system upgrades. However, there will be a slight variation to your account suffixes/IDs. Please view the Account & Loan ID Reference Guide 2025, included at the end.
-
You can continue to use your current supply of FE Choice FCU checks. Note: On reorders after March 3, 2025, the Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) account number will change from a 10 or 11-digit number, which began with “220”, to a new 14-digit MICR account number starting with a “1”. Please contact the Credit Union to obtain your new MICR before your next check order.
-
Any automatic transfers and electronic payments you have scheduled to/from another financial institution or to a merchant will continue to process normally as they do today, as will any internal transfers you currently have scheduled in Online Banking.
-
Your direct deposits will continue to post to your account as they do today.
-
If you have a loan with us, your payment due dates will remain the same, with the exception of certain line of credit loans.
-
Your existing Visa Credit Card will continue to work, and your personal identification number (PIN) will not be affected.
