IMPORTANT SYSTEM UPGRADE NOTICE!
FirstEnergy Choice FCU is undergoing a System Upgrade on MARCH 1, 2025.
We are converting to CU*Answers which is a company dedicated to the advancement of credit unions. This upgrade means that our Core Operating System is changing, and with that, you will be presented with a change to your online banking, mobile banking, and in-branch experience. We are confident that this upgrade will make doing business with us easier and faster. Like with any change, there will be things for our staff and our members to relearn. Many things will remain the same, such as:
Same friendly FE Choice FCU staff (phone calls from 3/3/2025 to 3/14/2025 will be assisted by the CU*Answers Call Center)
Your Member Number will not change
You can still use your existing checks
Your Credit Card will not be changing and will still work.
Your Debit Card, after reissuance due to the compromise, will not be changing and will still work. Please be aware that there will be reduced debit card/ATM dollar limit access from 2/28/2025 through 3/2/2025, so plan ahead and access the needed funds prior to 2/28/2025 or write a check for your larger purchases.
Check clearing, electronic payments, incoming deposits and loan payments will not be affected.
We have been preparing for the upgrade for quite a while and we want our members to trust that every detail and decision has been made with you in mind. Our team has completed and continues to complete countless hours of training, and we will be ready to assist you with this change.
Notice: ALL MEMBERS, including current E-statement subscribers will be receiving a February 2025 statement through the U.S. mail during the first part of March.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Friday evening, 2/28/2025 through Sunday, 3/2/2025, ONLINE BANKING WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE.
Monday 3/3/2025, a new online banking system called It’sMe247 will be available for members to enroll and to access from our website, www.fechoice.com. Once enrolled in It’sMe247, members who were previously receiving E-statements will automatically have access to their March E-statement in April. Members not previously enrolled in E-statements may enroll in It’sMe247 and then enroll in E-statements.
The new and improved mobile banking app (still named FE Choice FCU), which members will need to redownload, is estimated to be available by 3/8/2025.
The initial upgrade improvements will include a more robust online banking, mobile banking app, online account openings, electronic signatures, digital receipts, and real-time debit card processing.
